I just made a discovery in the Turku university library: the
translation of a short story called "The Naked City", by Mark
Hellinger, who produced the Jules Dassin film of 1948. But
Hellinger isn't credited as the writer of the film! It was
written, according to IMDB, by Albert Maltz from a story by
Malvin Wald. Can someone give some information, what has been
going on? Does anyone know anything about the case? Were
stories based on films published in magazines in the fourties
and fifties?
With baffled regards, Juri
