Sorry to keep popping up, but Doug Bassett's post reminded me
of one of my favorite authors, Ross Thomas. Anyone who hasn't
read Thomas is in for a real treat. I'd recommend CHINAMAN'S
CHANCE, but nearly anything by Thomas is good.
And there's no question about my favorite Ross Macdonald
book. It's THE CHILL.
