If you like Filth and Trainspotting etc you may like QUITE UGLY ONE MORNING by Christopher Brookmyre, just don't start reading it in any proximity to food, just about THE most disgusting first chapter I've ever read, but it's pretty funny all the same. That's me out out for another century Jane
