Bill: You've heard the same rumor I have, the one about
Stephen Marlowe having ghosted THE DEEP. I have no idea
whether the rumor is true, only that it's been circulating
for a long time.
As for those William Fuller books, I wrote a short piece on
them for 20TH CENTURY CRIME AND MYSTERY WRITERS several years
ago. It may not be in the more recent editions, which have
tended not to be kind to paperback writers.
