just now during an npr discussion on the lack of minority
representation on network television, the guest (i have no
idea who it was, sorry-- i was napping and woke up in the
middle of the show) said that the guy behind ER and the white
shadow (yeah!) is developing for series (on abc, i *think*)
to star "denzel washington's character from devil in a blue
dress", aka easy rawlins. i was totally stunned, i have to
admit. such a show, if done well, seems like it could be
fantastic. that said, in the event that it is picked out of
the hundreds of shows in development, i have serious doubts
that it would be done in a way that most of us would
like...does anyone else know anything about this?
