Hello, all.
I saw PAYBACK in February, and
just read Stark's THE HUNTER
(re-released as PAYBACK). I need to see the movie again, but
for now, I agree with Kevin. Helgeland and Gibson didn't
change a lot. Gibson's Porter was a bit more sympathetic, but
most of the essential action is the same.
Most of my fellow moviegoers
panned it as too dreary. They didn't enjoy Porter's torture
scene much. (Why was that included?)
FYI, Helgeland quit as director
just before the movie was completed. Gibson cited creative
differences.
