Nick Cave's whole catalogue is noir. He last album Murder
Ballads is
obviously crime orientated.
Green On Red did an album The Killer Inside Me, full of
Thompsonesque ballads
and situations, and some of their other albums contain
noirish stories.
As for books, got a copy of Solo Hand by Bill Moody, just
published in the UK
by Slow Dancer. Any good?
And Walter Mosley's RL's Dream was all about a guy whose life
revolved around
the time he met Robert Johnson.
