last fall, a colleague of mine who happens to own the film
rights to
Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye passed it along to me. I read it and I
fail to
see what all this talk of it being a masterpiece is all
about. In
fact, I remember it only vaguely now, it made so little of
an
impression on me.>>
Count me among the minority. I think _Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye_
is a weak
novel. It is simplistic and melodramatic, and not nearly as
well written
as _They Shoot Horses, Dont's They?_. However, and precisely
because of
the weaknesses pointed above, it might make a successful
film...
