Unless I'm wrong again (always a good bet), the 1940s Signet paperback of
KISS TOMORROW GOOD-BYE is considerably shorter than the version published in
paperback by Avon in the mid-1960s. Probably the Signet is an abridged
version of the hardcover book, which I don't have.
