In April 1999, the online literary magazine January
Magazine
http://www.januarymagazine.com
will publish a tribute to the late novelist
Ross Macdonald. We have a variety of pieces already lined up
for that
tribute. But we're still interested in hearing from writers
who have a new
angle or a special interest in Macdonald and his now-famous
private eye,
Lew Archer. Anybody who would like to contribute should drop
a line to
January's crime fiction editor, J. Kingston Pierce, at
mailto:jpwrites@sprynet.com.
Submissions will be due by mid-March.
And, since I'm here, for anyone more interested in writing
fiction, I guess
I should mention that I'm currently looking for new short
P.I. fiction (I
mean short stories featuring private eyes, not stories about
Mongo) for my
web site. You can contact me directly at mailto:kvnsmith@colba.net
.
