I've read one of his novels, "Dirty White Boys," and found it
lacking
the depth of his reviews. It was strict genre fare and
thrillers are
not my choice for that. (Although, friends who are thriller
fans seem
to like him very much.) If I'm going to read an average genre
piece,
it's almost always going to be a PI novel. Which, I guess,
takes me
back to Streeter.
