There's nothing like staying up late and replying to your own
postings.
Plenty more info on the series at the imdb website. The other
directors
included Tom Cruise, would you believe, and Steven Soderbergh.
I didn't see
them all, but I did see the Chandler and the Ellroy and they
were terrific.
On another thread, I thought James Garner was a great Marlowe
and I would
like him to have done more. Then again, I'm way too young to
remember Dick
Powell.
What about fantasy Marlowes for a new franchise? I've always
thought that
Powers Boothe would be fantastic.
