While we're discussing noir crime films, or attempt at such,
what did folks
here think of Mulholland Falls (1996), starring Nick Nolte? I
thought it
was pretty good for what it was, but all the way through I kept
being
struck by the idea that this was some sort of Ellroy homage. --
