Problem is, George's former works have been published and
then virtually
ignored by the publisher. He never got a paperback deal in
the US with
them (At least, they haven't come out. A British company is
doing them in
trade size. Mask Noir.) But King Suckerman was out from
Little Brown, who
gave it a good push, and this one got a mass market paperback
deal. Look
for it in August, and the next novel in hardback in October,
I think. I
hope he continues in pushing things as he has done with the
last two
novels. While the Stefanos stuff is really good, they're not
at the art
level of the last two.
