Edgars. I know there is some pretty good company there with Burke and
Pronzini and you are all very aware of them, as well as Ian Rankin, but
please consider the only woman nominated--Deborah Crombie--DREAMING OF
THE BONES. Although this is not "noir" it is a well-crafted police
procedural. Please don't discount this book or lump it with Martha
Grimes and Elizabeth George. Thanks for the band-width. I would love to
know what anyone else thinks of BONES; but mail me privately or our
keeper will get the ruler to us.
