Re: RARA-AVIS: Promoting Mosley

reading list, but I do think that Mosley's novels should be read in
order. They are done in chronological order of events, and Easy
Rawlins's life and attitudes change accordingly. There is also Mouse, a
marvellous character that cannot be understood without following his
exploits (and explosions) in the earlier books. Already the series spans
from the late forties to the early sixties, a period during which
American society (and Los Angeles) went through a lot of changes.

Incidentally, I was not "promoting" Mosley. On the one hand, he doesn't
need it; on the other, I only expressed my opinion as a fan. My only
reason for wasting space saying this is that there are a lot of shills
on the Internet, and I want to put as much distance between them and me
as I can. Those who read rec.arts.mystery know what I'm talking about...
