Actually, that's the story. A Keene story is listed on the
copyright page
of the first volume of Defective Detectives, but doesn't
actually appear
in the book.

Well, if there finally is a Cuddy site, that would be great.
I just
finished the latest paperback in the series, Invasion of
Privacy, and I was
very impressed. I'd always enjoyed the series (and the short
stories), but
this one just blew me away. Healy seems to have taken several
good ideas
from several other thrillers and detective yarns, and woven
them into his
best book yet. It's almost frightening to think, after a
dozen books or so,
that Healy's just warming up. I nominate the Cuddy series as
the best
series yet featuring a detective who talks to his dead
wife.
I hope you get that site going, Paul. Keep us informed.
