: Santa left the two Library of America Crime Novel volumes
of
: American Noir novels under my tree! Yippee!
You're lucky. Santa and my family have stopped giving me
hardboiled
stuff after two episodes of "Thank you very much ... but I
must admit
I already have these." I'd like to get these ones,
though.
Two other people on the list, Michael Sharp and Doug Levin,
were in
Toronto for the MLA, and we met up at a bar earlier tonight.
(Michael
had a Day Keene book to pass on to me.) Doug jokingly
referred to
these books as "canon," and maybe that's what they'll be. Who
edited
the collections?
