Michael-- It's just a used copy of _World_Without_Women_ that I
haven't
read--there are several others offered on the bookfinder
website.
Re: Fredric Brown--_The_Screaming_Mimi_, Asimov's favorite
among Brown's
novels, does not feature the detective team introduced in
_The_Fabulous_Clipjoint_. Its hero is a drunken journalist,
just like in
_Night_of_the_Jabberwock_.
I believe that the introduction to "Tick, Tock" in the
_American_Pulp_
anthology tells something about Wandrei, including the
magazines in which
he published his fantasy fiction.
