Marlowe was one of the Gold-Medalists of that legendary (in
retrospect)
era; his stuff is quite good. Unfortunately, he seems to have
fallen
into oblivion. But you can find his work in good used mystery
bookshops;
when I finish unpacking my library I can give you some titles
(I have
about a half a dozen of his paperbacks). As to how good
Marlowe was, all
I can say from memory is that he was definitely better than
Gil Brewer
and definitely not as good as Charles Williams or John D.
