i support this very strongly...this blah-blah about acting and
tv shows has
nothing to do here...let us not believe that all
police/thriller films or tv
shows have hard-boiled/noir elements...in fact most of them
don't especially
on 'normal' us tv...and of course the boundaries are subjective
and
fluctuate a bit but the basics have been pretty much well
defined in analysis
and literary criticism for the last 15 to 20 years...so i
believe we should
stick to that...
