I picked up a book called _The Other Detective Pulp Heroes by
Wooda N.
Carr and read for the first time about Carroll John Daly's
character
Frank `Satan' Hall. Who appeared in 22 stories from 1931 to
1954. And
who was called by pulp historian Robert Weinberg "The most
hard-boiled
character to ever appear in the pulps, and one of the most
memorable."
I was wondering if any of those stories are around to day.
Does
anybody know anything about this character? Or if any of the
tales are
anywhere close to in print?
