Hammett only wrote four stories under the name Peter Collinson: "The Road
Home," "The Vicious Circle," "Arson Plus," and "Slippery Fingers."  The
name is an in-joke: to tramps and criminals, a "Peter Collinson" is a
nobody, a John Doe.
