I highly recommend I’m Starting to Worry About This Black Box of Doom by Jason Pargin. Incredible energy that never flags, great characters, lively conversations about the internet and modern life, lots of Reddit, some fine wisdom, and two scenes that will make outlandish set pieces.

The way it takes off and doesn’t stop reminded me of Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash; the attitude and style made me want to reread Youth in Revolt by Nick Twisp to see how they compare.
